"Scarlet" Horned Spotted Moorit Gray Ewe (single to a one winter ewe)
Soft silky thel with a tog that is thick with pretty ringlets. Was not bred her first season. Nice and broad through the chest, back and rear. Scarlet has an easy time lambing, and is a good mother. She is one of those ewes that is extra friendly whenever there is food around. She is also extra naughty when it comes time to handle her for hoof trimming and shearing! We have noticed that this seems to be rather typical of the friendliest sheep!
UPDATE: Scarlet has a half udder after a bout of mastitis last year. She is a milky ewe and is doing a wonderful job raising her twins this year on a half udder.
