Son of our ram wonderful ram Tumnus. Grandson of AI ram Kjalvar. This ram has the very quiet and docile temperment of his father. He is not as large of a ram as Tumnus though. The other wonderful thing about him is that he is showing signs of being even more parasite resistant than his sire. I have not yet needed to deworm him in 2009. His parasite resistance has been stellar again in 2010, which is really saying something, because this has been a terrible year for parasite problems with the extreme heat and plentiful rainfall. He also threw some really beautiful daughters this year, that we are happy to be adding to the flock. Teton's horns are narrowly missing his face. I had planned on sawing them this summer, but just can't bear to cut those lovely curls unless I absolutely must. I can still fit my finger between his horn and his jaw, so for now they stay. (keeping fingers crossed :o) Since this post, one horn has been cut.
